David DeGeest is an award-winning scholar who conducts research on how teams succeed in the complex work environments and how organizations can best leverage high-performance work practices like flexible work and incentives. His research has been published in elite management journals including Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, Journal of Organizational Behavior, and Organizational Research Methods. His research has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, the South China Morning Post, and Inc. Magazine, the #1 periodical in the US for entrepreneurs. He previously held faculty and research positions in the United States and the Netherlands, and has come to Hong Kong to develop more international research projects. Prior to his academic career, he pursued opportunities as a teaching fellow, a corporate trainer, and an entrepreneur in Guangzhou and Macau.
