Sara Kelly is vice president, Starbucks Partner (Human) Resources for Starbucks Asia Pacific. She is responsible for building an innovative partner experience across Asia, and preparing leaders in the region to help partners realize their career potential.
Sara began her career at Starbucks 15 years ago, supporting the U.S. retail operations to elevate the retail partner experience. Prior to her current role, she served as vice president of Partner Resources supporting Starbucks Global Channel Development business, where she led the strategy to elevate the Starbucks experience globally. With the acquisition of Evolution Fresh in 2011, Sara also became responsible for leading partner strategies to support sales development, brand management, product development, and the company’s first state-of-the-art Juicery in Rancho Cucamonga, California.
A native of Southern California, Sara holds a B.A. in Business Administration (minor in Human Resources) from California Polytechnic University of San Luis Obispo in California. Since 2015, Sara moved to Hong Kong where she currently lives with her husband and two children. Sara is a certified Starbucks Coffee Master and starts every day in a Starbucks store with a Grande nonfat latte.
