An experienced entrepreneur, Mr. Tang Yiu Sing is the chairman of Stan Group (Holdings) Limited (“Stan Group”). He has over ten years of experience in corporate management and property investment. Based in Hong Kong, Stan Group’s business operations encompass property development (SG Properties), hotels and F&B (SG Hospitality), communication services (SG Communication Services) , financial management (SG Financial Services) and STILE. Members of Stan Group include The Wave, 168 Storage, Lafayette Wedding, East Ocean Gourmet Group, Tang’s Living Group, ASAP, and its strategic partner H.K. Sources Finance, ETS Group Limited (Stock code:8031), Gear Securities and Gear Investment.
Mr. Tang is a passionate entrepreneur and recognised social innovator. Building on his background and experience in entrepreneurship, he strives to create a reliable platform for budding startups in Hong Kong. He has established successful channels to support the professional and personal development of young entrepreneurs and actively encourages the teams working under his supervision to innovate, develop and grow. By creating a new business model based on adding value to be shared by employees, suppliers, customers, investors and members of the community, he is changing the way family businesses operate. Presently, Mr. Tang and the Group are focused on pressing issues, including housing innovation, education, youth empowerment and active ageing in Hong Kong, and aim to create sustainable development strategies. In doing so, he hopes to strengthen the city’s business sector while promoting social welfare, bringing stakeholders together to make Hong Kong a better place.
As a reflection of Mr. Tang’s business leadership and community involvement, he was named Outstanding Young Entrepreneurs by Hong Kong Baptist University and “Hong Kong Social Innovator” by The Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Fund (SIE Fund).
Mr. Tang is a member of the 13th Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference in Dongguan, which encourages policy and business collaboration between Guangdong and Hong Kong. He is also a committee member of the Yau Tsim Mong District Government Boards and Committees, promoting healthy living in the core districts of Kowloon. Additionally, he serves as the chief advisor for the Fijian Honorary Consulate in Hong Kong, fostering exchange between Hong Kong and Fijian business leaders and government officials. He is also a director of the Hong Kong’s Innovative Entrepreneur Association and the first vice-chairman of the Lions Club of Metropolitan, which provides valuable social services to the community. As a co-chairman of the organising committee of the “Community for the Chest” TV show and a member of the Admissions, Budgets and Allocations Committee of The Community Chest of Hong Kong, he dedicates himself to securing the resources required to support communities in need.
Mr. Tang writes regular column for local newspapers on youth development, local entrepreneurial development and policy issues.
